Pedro Negron, Jr. June 14, 1947 - September 19, 2017 Pedro Negron, Jr., 70, of Niles, passed away at The Chalet of Niles on Tuesday, September 19, 2017. Pedro was born on June 14, 1947, to the late Pedro Negron, Sr. and Nicolasa Rosario in Hormigueros, Puerto Rico. Pedro was always an entertainer. He enjoyed throwing parties for the whole neighborhood; he even built a dance floor at his home for everyone to use. Pedro also took great pride in his yard. He enjoyed the outdoors and spent much of his free time working on his yard, planting trees and tending to his plants. On June 8, 1990, he wed Benita Torres. After 17 years Pedro retired from NCP in Niles. After his retirement, he spent even more time in his yard and enjoyed every minute of it. He was preceded in death by his parents; and is survived by his sister, Carmen Rodriguez of South Bend; children, Anthony (Katiuscia) Negron of Barrington, New Hampshire, Neal (Morgan) Negron of Granger, Jennifer Negron of South Bend, Megan Negron of Iron Mountain, Michigan, Gina Negron of Vulcan, Michigan, Joshua Gonzalez of Niles, Vanesa Negron of Niles, Jaoska Torres of Goshen, and Rosa Castro of Niles; 19 grandchildren; and many extended family members and close friends. Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday, September 22, 2017, at Calvary Cemetery in Niles at 2:30 p.m.
