Obituary of Rhina Gold

Rhina Rebecca (Lewis) Gold, 80, of Niles, previously of Lancaster, California, passed away at The Timbers of Cass County on Saturday, July 5, 2014. Rhina was born on December 26, 1933 to the late Richard and Mary (Rich) Lewis in Chicago, Illinois. Rhina enjoyed reading and painting. She loved to make collages from old family photographs, loved watching old movies, caring for her plants but most of all she loved caring for her family. Rhina is preceded in death by her father Richard Lewis; mother Mary Kahn; former husband Arthur Manny Gold; one great grandson and siblings Sonny and Mitzi. She is survived by her children, Roberta "Birdii" (Mickey) Davis of Niles, Beverle Herrington of Diamond Head, Mississippi, Larry (Deborah) Gold of Las Vegas, Nevada, Neil (Barbara) Gold of Lancaster, California and Allan (Dana) Gold of Lancaster, California; grandchildren Erik Sandlin, Tovah Gold, Eelan Gold, Joshua (Lisa Wyner) Jacobs, Gabriel (Michelle) Jacobs, Shaun (Lia Sine) McComb, Corey McComb, Stephen Gold and Lindsey Gold and great grandchildren Alexa Sandlin, Rebekalynn Gold, Annabell Gold, Keely Jacobs, Julian Gold, Elijah Gold, Cece Gold, Melanie Sanchez and Brooklyn McComb and siblings Maxine (Al) Coultas of Niles, Michigan and Bobby (Ilene) Lewis of Chicago, Illinois.
