Obituary of Daronda Kaye Jordan

Daronda K. Jordan, 50, of Dowagiac, passed away on Monday morning at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph, Michigan, following a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born on January 14, 1964 in Dowagiac to Abraham L. and Donna B. (Wigfall) Jordan.
Daronda was a graduate of Dowagiac Union High School where she participated in many activities including track and band. She worked most recently for L.A.D.D. and was a loving caregiver. She enjoyed watching game shows on television, shopping, especially with her daughter and took pride in keeping her house extremely clean. Daronda had a very giving spirit and her family was always a priority. She came to know the Lord at a very young age and has been a member of Second Baptist Church for many years.
She is survived by her parents Abraham and Donna Jordan of Dowagiac, her son Randy L. Bacon II of Dowagiac, her daughter A'Shyla Washington of Dowagiac, a brother Derrick Jordan of Kalamazoo, a sister Donetta L. Jordan of Dowagiac, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at noon at Second Baptist Church in Dowagiac with a time of visitation beginning one hour prior. An interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
