Obituary of Betty Jean Schaber

Betty Jean Schaber, formerly Betty Jean Paholski, 71, of Niles, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 surrounded by her family at home. Betty was born on May 10, 1943 to the late Lorenzo and Mary Frances (Denny) Schaber in Niles. Betty graduated from Niles High School. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, sewing, crocheting, quilting and 4am coffee time at Bell Plaza Restaurant. She was loved and cared for by many but a special thank you to her granddaughter Frances Lynn Ranae Pellow who cared for her. She is preceded in death by her parents and survived by her children, Ski (Tifani) Paholski of Edwardsburg, Michigan, Teresa (Matt McDowell) Paholski of Niles, James (Katie Lewis) Paholski of South Bend, Indiana, Cindy Rosser of Green Cove, Florida and Christopher Fletcher of Niles; 18 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and brothers Kenny and Wayne Cass. The family will be hosting a memorial visitation at Franklin Woods Clubhouse on Sunday, September 7, 2014 from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m.
