Obituary of Norma J. Bearden

Norma Bearden, 78, of Niles, passed away at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph. Norma was born on December 13, 1935 to the late Jerome and Dorothy (Bohner) Bunker in Downsburgh, Pennsylvania. In September of 1992 Norma wed the man she had loved for more than 30 years, Robert Bearden, at a ceremony in St. Joseph, Michigan. Norma was the best mother, grandmother and great grandmother and best friend to her children. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Bearden; daughter, Janie McFadden; son, Randy Bearden; and siblings June, Howard and Jack Raprogal. Norma is survived by her children, Patricia "Patty" (Adam Faultersack) McFadden of Coloma, Michigan, Robert "Bobby" McFadden of Niles, Robert "Rock" Bearden of Watervliet, Michigan and Diana (Scott) Walter of Watervliet, several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and sister, Thelma (Dave) Weese. A memorial service to honor Norma's life will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Brown Funeral Home in Niles beginning at 11:00 a.m.
