He was a proud member of the VFW Post 2284. Joe was a long time gardener and spent much of his free time tending to his veggie garden. He was also a proponent of marijuana and enjoyed smoking his own and teaching people how to grow their own. He was preceded in death by his father and is survived by his mother, Darlene Kujawa; daughters, Carey (Tim) Wickler of Niles and Nicole Kujawa of Elkhart; six grandchildren; siblings, Linda Logalbo of Niles, Steve (Linda) Kujawa of Edwardsburg, Frank (Janet) Kujawa of Cassopolis, Rita (Joe) Bumgardner of Huntsville, Alabama, and Scott Kujawa of Niles; along with many extended family members and close friends.
