I was so saddened to hear of Jim's passing. Growing up in Buchanan with his daughter, Lauri, as my close friend, he became my other dad. I will cherish those moments forever. As I read the obituary notice in the Hastings Reminder I was immediately saddened by Jim's passing. It has been over 50 years since I shared time with Jim, but we were in 4-H together and spent some great times together at Camp and Fair. My sympathy and condolences go to his family and my only regret is that in our adult lives were grew apart! Denny Gaskill
