Obituary of Thomas Mooney

Thomas M. Mooney passed away peacefully at the Hanson Hospice House in Stevensville, Michigan on October 14, 2014, after a lengthy illness, at the age of 77.
Tom served in the Air Force overseas where he met and married Judith Anne in Bedford, England in 1960.
Thomas was an 18th Century reenactor for 28 years with Fort St. Joseph Militia as a commander and had many years of enjoyment.
Tom was a dearly loved father of Kimberly (James) Andert, Beth Schrader and Mark (Rhonda) Mooney; Papa to Brittney (Matteo Alfano) Mooney, Lillian Mooney, Olivia Mooney who preceded him in death, Rachael "Bunny" Doyle and Abigail, Nick and Max Schrader; brother to Jim (Barbara) Mooney, Barry (Carol) Mooney and Jack (Sharon) Mooney; and brother-in-law to Bruce (Pauline) Hoare.
A Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark Catholic Church in Niles with Rev. Thomas King, C.S.C. officiating and Brother Dennis Meyers, C.S. C. assisting.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorial donations be directed to Hospice at Home located at 4025 Health Park Lane, St. Joseph, Michigan 49120 for the excellent care they have given to Tom over the last two years.
