Obituary of James E. Webster

James Webster, 77, of Dowagiac, formerly of Niles, passed away at The Timbers of Cass County on Sunday, October 19, 2014, surrounded by his loving family.
On February 11, 1937 he was born in Niles to the late Herman and Hilda (Yochim) Webster.
Jim graduated from Niles High School in 1956. He married Frances Ruzick in Niles, Michigan on June 5, 1959.
In 1997 he Retired from Aramark Services, and was a lifetime member of the First Presbyterian Church of Niles, where he was a member of the choir. Jim and Frances enjoyed their time in the Michiana Cruisers, a club for classic vehicle owners. He loved traveling, especially during the fall-time, in his Ford Mustang. He also had a love for animals.
He is preceded in death by his parents Herman Webster and Hilda Webster-Airney.
Jim is survived by his wife Frances Webster of Dowagiac, a sister Patricia (Louie) Lampros of South Bend, Indiana, Several nieces and nephews as well as special friends Janet (Gale) LaPlace of Vandalia and Dorothy Coward-Libey of Niles.
In keeping with Jim's wishes, a graveside service will be held at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens on Thursday, October 23rd, 2014 at 11:00 a.m.
