Obituary of Stephen A. Walker

Stephen A. Walker, 66, of Niles passed away Sunday, December 14, 2014 at his home with his family surrounding him. He was born to the late Lawrence and Mildred (Potts) Walker in Mishawaka, Indiana on February 6, 1948. Diane Gill stole Stephen's heart and on December 20, 1986 at a ceremony in Mishawaka, Indiana. Stephen was a man who enjoyed the simple things in life; being able to watch old movies was a favorite pastime. He was an avid NASCAR and Michigan football fan. Carpentry was also one of Stephen's talents and he enjoyed woodworking in his spare time. Stephen is preceded in passing by his parents, his brother L.A. Walker, and his sister Mary Ellen Wiley. He is survived by his wife, Diane, his sons Jon and Donald Walker, and his daughter, Jennifer Stacey. He is also survived by his six grandchildren; Justin (Lauren), Kristopher, Lyndsie, Marissa, Gavin, and Paige, his two great-grandchildren Morghan and Hadley, and his brother, Donald (Nancy) Walker. In accordance with Stephens wishes cremation has taken place and there are currently no public services.
