Blanten Bolen, 71, of Niles, passed away at Riveridge Manor in Niles on Friday, December 19, 2014.
Blanten was born on September 7, 1943 to the late Chester and Lottie Hicks in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He worked in a foundry for most of his life and retired when he moved to Michigan due to his health.
Blanten was preceded in death by his parents, son Jimmy Benton Bolen, daughter Tina Marie Lott and his siblings.
Blanten is survived by his son Bobby Bolen; brothers Inn Bolen and Ellis Ray Hicks and sister Violet Chapman.
