Obituary of Linda Faye Gordon

Linda F. Gordon, 63, of Allegan, passed away unexpectedly but of natural causes on January 20, 2015 at Bronson Hospital, Kalamazoo. On August 28, 1951 Linda was born to Alonzo Gordon and Wilma (Jones) Hollins in Nashville, Tennessee. After graduating from high school Linda went on to earn her Associates degree in nursing. Caring for others was truly a calling that Linda was born to fulfill. For many years Linda worked at Bronson Hospital as a registered nurse. After retiring, Linda continued to serve others in many different capacities. She was very involved in the Allegan Seventh Day Adventist Church and held offices such as; Bulletin Secretary, Church Office Secretary, Hospitality Committee, Co-chair of the Women's Ministry, and also a Sabbath School Teacher. While Linda always enjoyed serving others, her greatest joy came from her spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Preceding Linda are her father Alonzo Gordon and her brother Kelvin Gordon. She is survived by her mother, Wilma Hollins of Bloomingdale, Michigan her children; Darrick (Stephanie) Gordon of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, Yolanda Stevenson Gobles, Michigan and Dana Voigt of Gobles, Michigan. She is also survived by her brothers Alonzo Gordon, Jr., Paul (Linda) Gordon both of Florida, and her sister Valeria Gordon of Arizona. She will be greatly missed by her eight grandchildren.
