Over the years he worked for Monarch Laundry, Keystone R.V.'s, SJC Industries and currently employed at Dexstar Wheel in Elkhart. On September 2, 2006 Billy married Kellie Phillips at a ceremony at Fernwood Botanical Gardens in Niles. Billy enjoyed watching any kind of motor sports, including stock car racing, monster trucks, motocross, speedboats; actually anything that had a motor and could go fast! Billy was an avid NASCAR enthusiast and yes folks, his favorite driver was Jeff Gordon. Billy had miracle hands when it came to fixing anything. Billy could build or re-build practically anything with a motor and he was a wonderful handy man to have around the house. He also enjoyed watching college football and spending time outdoors, and occasionally hunting, when his wife let him. His most valuable time was that spent with his wife and son who loved him beyond words. He was preceded in death by his father William E. True and a sister Tracy Bowker. Billy is survived by his wife Kellie Phillips-True of Cassopolis, a son William "Will" True of Cassopolis, his mother Patricia Duty of Niles, step-daughters; Abbie (Tim) Tilley of Niles, Antoinette Anson of Niles and Crystal Anson of Cassopolis, step-grandchildren Alayah, Cierra, Robert and Savannah and three sisters; Sherri Wogatzke of Niles, Melanie (Les) Sanford of Elkhart and Robin True of Niles, a step-mother Carol True of Niles, stepbrothers; Eddie (Dawn) Mahar, Steve (Sharee) Mahar, Andy (Crissy) Mahar and Mike (Jennifer) Mahar all of Niles.
