Obituary of James O. Wright

James O. Wright, 68, of Benton Harbor, passed away at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville on Friday, February 6, 2015. James O. Wright, 68, of Benton Harbor, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2015 at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville. He was born on May 11, 1946 in Benton Harbor to the late James and Stella (Moore) Wright. On July 2, 1999 James married Julia E. Henry at a ceremony in St. Joseph. He worked for many years at Bosch in St. Joseph for over 31 years. James served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy from 1966-1970 and then also in the U.S. Coast Guard. He enjoyed collecting trains. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Margie. James is survived by his wife Julia E. Wright of Benton Harbor, a son James Wright, Jr., a daughter Michelle (David) Spencer, Step-daughters; Kelly McGahee and Trish, six grandchildren and his best friends; Doyle (Geraldine) Rogers, James (Iris) Rogers, and his favorite dog Rocky. In keeping with James request, cremation has taken place and his family will remember him at a later date. He was laid to rest at North Shore Memory Gardens.
