Obituary of Barbara Sue Jennings

Barbara Sue (Woodham) Jennings, 66, of Berrien Springs, started a new life with her Lord in Heaven on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2013. Barb was born on October 11, 1946 to the late Floyd and Walcie (Hodge) Woodham in Benton Harbor, Michigan. Barb helped form Jennings Express Transportation in Berrien Springs and on May 18, 1991 she wed Michael Jennings at a ceremony on the lake in Coloma, Michigan. Barb loved to spend time outdoors in the warm weather. She spent her free time outdoors soaking up the sun, fishing and spending time on the boat with anyone that would come with her. But, no matter what, she was always at her grandkids sporting events; she loved to watch Cameron and Abby rain or shine. Barb liked to dine out and was a big NASCAR fan, especially of Jeff Gordon and Jimmy Johnson. Every year Barb went to Mexico with friends, sometimes even twice a year, just so she could spend time out in the warm sand. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents and her father-in-law Arthur Rickel and she is survived by her husband Michael, children Anthony "Scott" (Brooke Miligan) Baiers of Stevensville, Michigan, Shawn Baiers of Avon Lake, Ohio, Erica Jennings of Redgranite, Wisconsin and Christoper Jennings of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, 7 grandchildren, her two sisters Linda (Keldon) Mulhern of Papillion, Nebraska and Lavern Spear of Pittsburg, Texas, her mother-in-law Jeanne Rickel of Stevensville, her shih tzu, Hannah, that she loved dearly and her best friend Elizabeth "Kandy" Ziebarth of St. Joseph.
