Marie Elaina Purtha-Kettler, 64, of Stevensville, passed away at home on Thursday, March 19, 2015.
Marie was born on February 20, 1951 to the late Gerald and Gloria Hoover in New Buffalo, Michigan.
Marie loved spending time with her grandchildren and playing cards and dice with her brother, Dean.
Marie is preceded in death by her parents and daughter Gloria Klee and is survived by her companion and best friend Richard Clements, children Ann (George) Beard of Columbus, Mississippi, and Victor Purtha Jr. of Stevensville, Michigan, seven grandchildren and three great grandsons and siblings Dean (Deb Byrne) Hoover of Stevensville, Harold Hoover of Buchanan, Barbara Bennitt of La Porte, Indiana and Thelma (Bob) Petzold of Buchanan.
In keeping with Marie's wishes she has been cremated and the family will be remembering her privately.
