Obituary of Myron Lowell Peyton

Myron Lowell Peyton, 67, formerly of Valparaiso, Indiana and Worster, Ohio passed away in Buchanan, Michigan on Thursday, April 2, 2015.
Lowell was born to the late Myron and Rowena (Partridge) Peyton in Wooster, Ohio on June 16, 1947.
After graduating from high school, Lowell went to Oberlin College, then on to Yale University for his Master of Fine Art. He taught in Boston and Phoenix, and in Chicago at the Chicago Art Institute. He traveled extensively in Europe and the U.S.
He is survived by his brother John (Sue) Peyton of Valparaiso, Indiana and his nephews James (Gina) Peyton of Hebron, Indiana and Robert (Lynn) Petyon of Madison, Wisconsin.
Those wishing to make a memorial donation in honor of Lowell may do so to Oberlin College Art Department. Contributions should be made payable to Oberlin College and be sent to 50 West Lorain Street, Oberlin, Ohio 44074.
In accordance with Lowell's wishes cremation has taken place and he will be laid to rest next to his parents at Memorial Park in Lawrence, Kansas.
