Obituary of Jon Sauve'

Jon R. Sauve', 50, of Niles, passed away at the residence of a friend in Ft. Wayne, Indiana on Sunday morning, August 20, 2017, of natural causes. He was born on May 27, 1967 in Niles to the late Arnold D. and Mary L. (Mullins) Sauve'. Jon graduated from Niles High School and was currently taking classes at Lake Michigan College. Jon enjoyed bowling, old movies, dancing and was a great cook. Jon was blessed with many friends and valued the times they were all together. Jon always had a special place in his heart for his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold "Arnie" Sauve' and Mary L. Rackley and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Jon is survived by his two sisters, Mary (Don) Stehlin of Hanover Park, Illinois and Shannon (Timmy) Boyce of Niles, his adopted mother, Alice Montgomery of Niles as well as several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Jon will also be greatly missed by his beloved dog, Mimi. Memorial contributions may be made in Jon's memory to the American Cancer Society or to Pet Refuge. A celebration of Jon's life will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at St. John's United Church of Christ in Niles at 1:00 p.m. with friends and family gathering at 12:30 p.m. Memories of Jon may be left for the family at www.BrownFuneralHomeNiles.com.
