Jeannine (Gagnon) Lanoie-Nair, 53, of St. Joseph, Michigan, passed away at her residence on Monday, April 8, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Manchester, New Hampshire on August 17, 1959 to the late Roger and Claire (Fontaine) Gagnon. Jeannine graduated in 1977 from Memorial High School. She then took a few college classes while working for Osram Sylvania in Manchester, where she stayed for 20 years as a Quality Control Technician. Jeannine met her soul-mate and best friend, Hari Nair in 2001. The couple traveled all over the world together and married on December 6, 2005 in New Delhi, India. Jeannine always lived life passionately and to the fullest. She loved traveling, shopping and quiet times on the beach. Jeannine also enjoyed wine tasting with Hari, and time spent with friends. She was known for her fabulous dinner parties and for being a wonderful host. Her adventurous spirit and endless generosity made her friendship a true gift. Jeannie's greatest joy was the time spent with her husband, children, grandchildren and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Al Gagnon. Jeannine is survived by her husband and best friend Hari Nair of St. Joe; her daughter Leahanna Neas (married to Jeremy) and two grandchildren Ethan and Taylor Neas of Colorado Springs, Colorado; her son Christopher Lanoie of Sumter, South Carolina; her four sisters: Doreen Sheridan, Christine Gagnon, Cathy Ballou and Marlene Muncey; and a brother Richard Gagnon, all of Derry, New Hampshire. In keeping with Jeannine's wishes, her family gathered for a private farewell. Jeannie was dedicated to helping the smallest of cancer victims; if you wish to pay your respects, memorial contributions can be made in her name to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at: http://fundraising.stjude.org/site/TR?pxfid=35202&pg=fund&fr_id=1341 Lastly, those wishing to send condolences to Jeannie's family or share stories can visit her Facebook memorial page at this address: http://www.facebook.com/groups/CelebratingJeannie/
