Obituary of Donald Chancellor

Donald W. Chancellor, 70, of Coloma, passed away at his home on Friday, June 26, 2015. Donald was born on October 29, 1944 to the late Guy and Lois (Gifford) Chancellor in Perryville, Arkansas. He was one of ten children. Donald was always a caring person; he loved playing horseshoes and cards and would welcome anyone in to his home with a glass of iced tea. He enjoyed spending time with his brothers, sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. He was also a devoted member of First General Baptist Church in Coloma where he enjoyed, and took seriously, his job as an usher. Donald was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Billy Juanita Douglas, Sue Hicks and Andrew Gregory Chancellor. He is survived by his siblings Tommy (Brenda) Chancellor of Coloma, Virginia Pullen of Emmett, California, John (Judy) Chancellor of Coloma, Jimmy Dale (Terrie) Chancellor of Mattawan, Anthony (Linda) Chancellor of Oroville, California and Linda (James) Barnett of Lawrence and the family dog whom he thought of as a friend, Shilo. The family will be hosting a memorial service in July First General Baptist Church of Coloma located at 6365 North Shore Drive in Coloma. Those wishing to make a memorial donation in Donald's name may do so to the church.
