Obituary of Ronald Bernard Schmuhl

Ronald Bernard Schmuhl, 64, of Watervliet, Michigan passed away at his home on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 with his family by his side. Ronald was born on January 4, 1951 to the late Bernard and Mildred (Goodsell) Schmuhl in Watervliet, Michigan. After graduating from high school Ronald went on to attend college and on June 21, 1991 he wed Diana Jackson at a ceremony in Benton Harbor. Ronald loved to collect baseball cards, especially the Chicago Cubs. He was also a great family man and loved to watch NASCAR particularly if Jeff Gordon was racing. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife, Diana Schmuhl of Watervliet; children, Julie (Nick) Carter of Coloma, Michigan, Janet (Brian) Tufnell of Benton Harbor, Leslie (Darrel) Stanford of Watervliet, Michelle Wells of Watervliet, William (Joseph) Brett) Jackson of Watervliet and Cecil (Angie) Jackson of Hartford, Michigan; 18 grandchildren; six great grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends. Ronald's family will be hosting a memorial service at Red Arrow General Baptist Church on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 3:00 p.m.
