Obituary of Da'Jauna Marie Davis

Da'Jauna "NuNu" Marie Davis, 19, of Niles, departed this life on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at Memorial Hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Da'Jauna was born on March 20, 1994 in Niles to Ya'Earla Davis and Dwanye Miller. She was a graduate of Niles High School, class of 2012. She attended Brown Mackie College in South Bend and Regency Beauty School in Mishawaka. Da'Jauna leaves to cherish her life one son Javon Thomas, her mother Ya'Earla Davis, father Kevin Reed Sr., step-father DuJwan C. Berry all of Niles, grandfathers Mark Guernsey of Niles and Charles Braxton of Arizona, grandmothers Virginia Beaty of Benton Harbor and Dorothy Reed of Chicago, great grandmother Sarah (Andrew) Crump of Chicago, siblings De'Ja Berry and Kevauna Reed, Quiana Wine and Martell Miller, step-brother Kevin Reed Jr. all of Niles, god brother Javon Bibbs, aunts and uncles Jowana (Will) Howell of Georgia, Leonard Beaty, Virsarah Davis, Lynzie (DeMarco) Thompson, and Brandy Davis all of Niles, godmother Shelia King-Martinez and godson Jayceon Micou, a special great-aunt Rita Broadway, special friend Car'neeya, Sha-Kaylon and Destany and a host of relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her father Dwanye Miller, grandmother Tremell Guernsey, great-grandmother Hortense Nalls and grandfathers Earl Davis Jr. and Henry Beaty Sr. A home going service for Da'Jauna will be held on Friday, May 10, 2013 at noon with a time of visitation one hour prior at Mount Calvary Baptist Church; 601 Ferry Street, Niles, Michigan. Pastor Bryant Bacon will be officiating.
