Obituary of Stella Joan Smith

Stella Joan (Clark) Smith, 69, of Berrien Springs, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2013, following an illness. She was born on March 7, 1944 in Benton Harbor to the late Oren and Ella C. (Small) Clark. She worked faithfully for many years as a housekeeper for Whirlpool Corporation. Her hobbies included puzzles, reading and completing word searches Stella was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and one brother She is survived by a son James R. Smith Jr. of Benton Harbor, two daughters Becky Smith of Benton Harbor, Michigan and Candy (Robert) Wade of Charlottesville, Virginia, three grandchildren Daniel and Todd Smith of Benton Harbor and David Wade of Charlottesville, sister Willene Ozment of Banks, Arkansas, a very special niece Stella M. Everson of Cudahy, Wisconsin and a nephew of David Grigereit Jr. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and her family will remember her on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at North Shore Memory Gardens in Coloma.
