Obituary of JoAnn Yawkey

Daisy Yawkey, 72, of Cassopolis passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at The Timbers Nursing Home of Dowagiac with her family by her side. Daisy Yawkey was born on March 1, 1941 in Mishawaka to the late Charles and Bernice (Foy) Frazier. On October 5, 1957 she married Donald Yawkey at a ceremony in Osceola. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, two daughters, Valerie Yawkey, Donna Yawkey, two sons, William Yawkey, Donald Yawkey Jr., three brothers; Robert Frazier, Butch Frazier and David Frazier. Daisy is survived by a son John Yawkey of Cassopolis, five daughters; Anna Kirk of Vandalia, Chris(John Mosier) Yawkey of Dowagiac, Kathryn Yawkey of Elkhart, Cindy Yawkey of Vandalia and Marianne (Robert Corbidge) Yawkey of Cassopolis, seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, brother Harold (Debbie) Frazier of Elkhart, two sisters, Dorothy Breden of Osceola and Hope Weldon of Cassopolis. She enjoyed flowers and going to casinos as often as possible. In keeping with JoAnn's wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no services at this time.
