Obituary of Robert Selter

Robert A. Selter, 73, of Coloma, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2015 in Wayne, Michigan, following an extended illness. He was born in Coloma to the late Floyd Jr. and Ruth O. (Roraback) Hall. After their marriage ended he was primarily raised by his mother Ruth and step-father Edwin R. Hall. He was a graduate of Coloma High School and served his country proudly in the U.S. Marines. He enjoyed building and repairing computers. Robert never liked sitting idle and enjoyed the outdoors. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Gordon and Frank Selter, Edwin R Hall Jr., Robert E Hall, and sisters Thela Louise (Hall) Holden, Beverly Jean Hall. He is survived by three sons; Brian (Stacie) Selter of Fennville, John (Allison) Selter of Grand Rapids and Patrick Selter of Minnesota, two daughters, Jackie (Curt) Douma of Grand Rapids and Lisa (Bill) Schultz of Minnesota, 12 grandchildren, two sisters, Barbara Lynn (Hall) Mays and Anna Theresa (Terry Hall) Harris. Funeral services will be held for Robert at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, Michigan on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. with full military honors.
