MMarilyn Marie Weathers, 65, of Galien, passed away at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph on Thursday, October 29, 2015. Marilyn was born on October 28, 1950 in Galien, Michigan to Ewald and Martha (Krumrie) Woodrick. Marilyn worked many years as a registered nurse at Hamilton Grove in New Carlisle, Indiana. Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Weathers of Buchannan, Michigan, her grandson, Taylor Weathers of Lambertville, Michigan, and her sister, Diane Riffle, Of LaPorte, Indiana. Marilyn is survived by her children, Angela (Weathers) Matthews of Lambertville, Michigan, Gary Weathers of Galien, Michigan, and Wendy Weathers of Buchannan, Michigan. Also surviving Marilyn are three grandchildren, Anthony and Stormy Dykema and Sylvia Matthews, her brother, Dick Woodrick of Galien, Michigan and her sister, Anita Sinner of Bridgman, Michigan. In keeping with Marilyn's wishes she has selflessly donated her body to further medical research and her family will be remembering her privately. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Niles.
