I met Mark in 1990 in Dallas, Texas. He was a statuesque gentle giant and always easy and fun to be around. Our acquaintanceship rapidly developed into a very close friendship that lasted for many years. I moved to California in 2005 and Mark had already gone to Nyles to live with his Mother and go to Nursing School. He Was very smart and I was amazed how well he did. He was studying to get an LVN until his health took a turn for the worse and prevented him from finishing school. Many nights I spent time with Mark and we had a lot of very close moments and I knew a lot of his deepest secrets. He was always so much fun to be around and so creative and had such a great laugh and since humor. He was also very deep and loving and tended to hide that side behind a distant and hands off private recluse. I'll never forget Mark. I was so saddened to learn that he died at home by himself. It breaks my heart. Please always remember the good in Mark and the life of the party and the one everyone wanted with them so they'd be the click and in the know. He was just modern and ever evolving in that way. My last words are a personal song I made up and he'd always sing it in a way that only he knew how. It made me feel honored that he got it. Mark, I love you. I'll miss you. I'll always remember " Take me for a ride on the tilt-a-whirl." Be seeing you soon my dear friend. Always love, Kyle

It's always so sad when one of your good friends from your childhood has passed on to another place. Lots of fun times growing up, learning about friendships and experiencing life. Losing someone who's been a friend seems to happen more often, but of course it does, as you grow older. I hadn't seen or talked to you in a long time Mark but I'll remember us all sitting on the porch swing, singing 60's radio tunes and watching the rain, laughing at our jokes and imaginations or even not so long ago, helping you out with your computer which let me learn more about them also. Rest comfortably Mark, no more pain or pressure or stresses, just enjoy the next life ! From your friend, Gerry.

We both loved those cream filled long johns from Forler's Bakery... And spent plenty of our $ there! " wooter wooter wooter " was our secret call ... I still use it today to call my dog in from outside..LOL. I had the best memories growing up in our neighborhood ..it was 1962
living on the north side of town ... Life was simple then and we were both so innocent !
I will miss you my friend but my memories are in my heart for ever:pray:
