Obituary of Virgie Smith

Virgie Smith, 88, of Niles, passed away at Riveridge Manor in Niles on Friday, November 20, 2015. Virgie was born on March 7, 1927 to the late Manley A. and Sarah Etter (Hulett) Wilson in McMinnville, Tennessee. Virgie was an amazing cook and will be remembered fondly by her family for her wonderful meals. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Marvin Wilson, Nola Hulett, Francis Asmus, Cladie Logan, Earl Wilson, B.F. Wilson, Paris Wilson, Zeb Wilson, and Gleda Manchow. Virgie is survived by her children Virginia Ann Smith of Niles and James D. (Carmen) Smith of Bradyville, Tennessee, grandchildren Richard Smith of Benton Harbor, Wesley (Summer) Smith of Coloma, Cooper (Michelle) Smith of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, J.B. (Julie) Smith of McMinnville, Jeremy (Heather) Smith of Manchester, Tennessee, Jamie (Tony) Halliburton of Murfreesboro, and Tari Smith of Bradyville and 14 greatgrandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 23, 2015 at Brown Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with a time of visitation one hour prior.
