Obituary of Lloyd Tabbert

Lloyd R. Tabbert, 89, of Dowagiac was called home Monday, October 30, 2017, at his home with his family by his side. He was born on April 1, 1928 in Iron Mountain, Michigan to the late Frank H. and Sylvia T (Slater) Tabbert. On June 30, 1962 he married the former Nancy Jo Stockwell in Cassopolis. He is preceded in death by his parents; four sisters and one brothers. Lloyd is survived by his wife of fifty-five years Nancy Jo Stockwell Tabbert of Dowagiac; sons, Lloyd D. (Sharon) Tabbert of Clearwater, Florida and Delbert A (Linda) Tabbert of Dowagiac; daughter, Norma M. McCraner of Dowagiac; eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; brother, George Tabbert; and a sister, Adeline Kilpatrick. A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 3, 2017 at 11:00 am at Michiana Church of Christ, 500 E. Prairie Ronde, Dowagiac.
