Charles R. Martin, 65 of Cassopolis, passed away with his family at his side on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo.
He was born November 22, 1950 in Watervliet, to the late Lovell and Melissa (Bushee) Martin .
Chuck was raised in Hartford and graduated from Hartford High School in 1969. He served in the Marines and when he came back to Michigan he wed the love of his life, Deb Grochow on June 12, 1976.
He leaves to cherish his memory to his loving wife, Deb, daughter, Miranda (Eric) Lebold, granddaughter, Emersyn Lebold (2), sister, Betty Martin, Lovell's wife Carolyn Martin and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Winnie Welty.
A public visitation will be held at Brown Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 from 6-8 pm; services to honor Chuck's life will be held at Summit Church, 1700 West River Rd. Niles, on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 10:30 in the Morning.
