Obituary of Charlotte Espick
Please share a memory of Charlotte to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Charlotte "Max" Espick, 74, of Niles passed way at her home, with her loving husband by her side on Saturday, December 26, 2015.
She was born September 24, 1941 to the late Corley and Sallie (Deloach) Brantley in Valdosta, Georgia. Charlotte graduated from Valdosta High School and later went on to marry the love of her life, Ronald L. Espick on November 25, 1960.
While Charlotte left the South, the South did not leave her; many will remember her as an easy going person who enjoyed sitting on her front porch, swinging. Charlotte was an avid reader, especially of Steven King books and loved abstract painting.
Charlotte leaves to cherish her memory to her husband of fifty-five years, Ronald Espick, three sons, Donny (Tracie), David (Diana) and Shane (Cheryl) Espick, sister, Nita Mae Weeks, four grandchildren and a host of family & friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Corley and Sallie Brantley, three brothers; Milton, Ronnie and Ralph Brantley, four sisters; Inez Lee, Melba Williams, Martha Ann Jones and Ava Nell Riggs.
Memorial contributions may be made in Charlotte's memory to St. Judes Children's Research Center or to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan 222 N. Kalamazoo Mall #100, Kalamazoo, MI 49007.
Funeral services will be held at Mission Hills Memorial Chapel on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at Eleven O'clock in the Morning with a time for family and friends to gather an hour prior.
