Obituary of Dora Jean Holmes

Dora Holmes, 74, lifelong resident of Niles, passed away at her home, with her family by her side, on Tuesday, January 5, 2016.
Dora was born on April 21, 1941 to the late Raymond and Helen Marks in Niles. After school Dora worked for Simplicity Pattern Company. Dora wed the love of her life, Robert Holmes at a ceremony in Niles and the two had four children.
Dora was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her husband of 58 years, Robert Holmes; children, Bob (Brenda) Holmes of Niles, Tex (Linda) Holmes of Niles, Debbie (John) Fein of Bowling Green, Kentucky and Raymond (Tabitha) Holmes of Niles; eleven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and sister Deanna (Don) Elrod of Niles.
In keeping with Dora's wishes she has been cremated and her family will be remembering her privately.
Those wishing to make a memorial donation in Dora's name may do so to the Salvation Army.
