Janet was like a breath of spring, a beautiful woman with a heart full of compassion and an endless capacity to love. There was not a mean bone in her body. She was always cheerful, ready to offer a smile, or a hand, or a leg up, or whatever one needed at the moment. Her family was her greatest passion, but her friends were close seconds. We KNEW she loved us, accepted us with all our flaws, wished us the very best, and would do whatever she could to help us on our own journeys.
Her family and many friends will miss her sorely. But we know that, although she is with her sweet Lord, she is still with us, too.
Janet, I am proud to say, "You were my friend." At the end of the day, what better tribute is that?
