I met Dave at work about 15 yrs ago. We hit it off right away, Dave was a lot of fun he introduced me to his wonderful family and I was his little sister from that point on. I loved the nights on the back porch Dave playing his guitar and singing, Going down to the local bar on Saturday night to watch Dave sing his heart out. That's also where I met Evelyn I knew he had her heart from the very start as she did his. Their wedding was a wonderful event lots of fun and love Dave was at his happiest then. Dave and Evelyn would come to Niles and stay with Bob and Linda on weekends and we would have cookouts and sit on the swing outside and have our own heart to heart talks. 4th of July was always the BEST a few drinks great food cooked on the grill horseshoes all day. So many people would stop by as night would come it was time for a bon fire and some country music watching fireworks from neighbors and across the sky. These are just a few wonderful memories that I will always treasure with Dave. He was a great artist and I would go to visit him and Evelyn and he would always have new paintings that he always liked to share with everyone. Dave will always have a place in my heart and the heart of my family he will be greatly missed.
