Obituary of Rose M. Briggs

Rose M. Briggs, of Niles, passed away at Home on Monday, March 28, 2016. Rose was born on June 14, 1930 in Bamberg, Germany to the late Joseph and Josephine Mager. On May 23, 1958 Rose wed Bob Briggs in Germany. She loved listening to Elvis and Polka music. Rose was preceded in death by her parents and husband Garman "Bob" Briggs who passed in January. Rose is survived by her daughter, Linda Colcord; grandchildren, Melissa (Stan) Larrew, Tina (Dennis) Ralston, Michelle Colcord and Jennifer Colcord; great grandchildren, Summer, Amanda (Scott), Cody, Anthony, Nickoda, Daryl and Summer; great great grandchildren, Holly, Haden, Scott Jr., Wyatt, Savannah and Mason and many extended family and friends. A memorial service to honor Rose's life will be held at Brown Funeral Home on Monday, April 4, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. with a time of visitation one hour prior. In the spring the family will also be having a celebration of life service at their home to celebrate Bob and Rose's lives.
