I met Mr. Brookins when he was a driver for Cass County Transit. He was always very pleasant and professional whenever I was one of his passengers. I was so sorry to hear of Roger's passing. I knew him since he was a little boy and then as a person I worked with for many years. He was such a joy to be around and such a fashion statement! I am not very good with words but I will do my best here. I remember Roger most for his kind words, compassion and love for his fellow persons. There was many times that the stress of our work would get to me and he would be able to say the right words to help me through it. He could laugh and joke with the best of them.
