Obituary of Arnold D. Sauve

Arnold "Arnie" D. Sauvé, 79, of Niles, passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, April 17, 2016 at his residence. He was born on June 19, 1936 in Niagara, Wisconsin to the late Joseph and Blanche (Bourassa) Sauvé. After graduating high school, Arnie enlisted in the U.S. Air Force retiring after 10 years. He graduated from Southwestern Michigan College in Niles and worked for nearly 20 years in inventory control for Niles Industrial, prior to it closing. After retirement, not being able to stay idle, he became the manager of Niles Mobile Home Park until his passing. He enjoyed music and was gifted in playing the guitar. He also found solitaire to be a great way to relax. Many remember Arnie's love of playing Euchre and spending time with family and friends. He also cherished holiday times, knowing the family would all be together. He was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings; Harold, Joseph, Gordon, Edwin and John Sauvé. Arnold is survived by a son Jon Sauve in Niles, two daughters, Mary (Don) Sauvé-Mullins-Stehlin of Hanover Park, Illinois and Shannon (Timothy) Boyce of Niles, five grandchildren; Brian, Christopher, Joseph, Michael and Jerimiah, two great-grandchildren, Brian and Sophia, and a sister Alice Montgomery of Niles. Arnold's family will gather to remember him privately at Brown Funeral Home with full military honors and an interment will take place in Niagara, Wisconsin.
