Donald "Otto" Graham, 88, of Dowagiac, passed away at his home on Thursday, November 9, 2017, with his wife by his side. Otto was born on May 9, 1929, in Dowagiac. After graduating from Dowagiac High School in 1948, Otto went on to become a welder at National Standard, DeRose, Commercial Welding, and Georgie Boy; he truly was a jack-of-all-trades. On August 15, 1953, he wed Carolyn Winchell at a ceremony at Christian Church in Dowagiac. He was preceded in death by his parents, Inez and Frank Booth. Otto is survived by his wife, Carolyn Graham; son, Larry (Linda Davis) Graham of Dowagiac; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Thelma (Bob) MacElheny of Dowagiac; one niece; one nephew; and many extended family members and close friends. A time of visitation to gather and share memories will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2017, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Niles with a brief prayer at 4:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made in Otto's memory to Reverence Home Health and Hospice located at 348 Burdick St., Kalamazoo, Michigan 49007, Lee Memorial Foundation in care of the Oncology Department located at 420 West High Street, Dowagiac, Michigan 49047, or to the Hospital Hospitality House of Southwest Michigan located at 1800 Henson Ave, Kalamazoo, MI 49048. Donation envelopes will be available at Otto's visitation.
