Mitchell Allen Manis, 27, of South Bend passed away at his home unexpectedly of natural causes on Monday, June 6, 2016.
He was born on May 24, 1989 in South Bend, Indiana to Mark A. and Connie S. (Cook) Manis. Mitchell graduated from Riley High School in 2007 and attended Indiana University of South Bend.
Mitchell enjoyed coaching M.S.A. soccer, playing video games, the Fighting Irish and taking naps. He will be remembered most for his sense of humor, joking personality and karaoke skills.
He is survived by his children; Brody (8) and Gwendolyn Manis (3) parents; Mark and Connie Manis, sister; Chelsey Manis, brothers; Riley Owens and Travis Barrier, uncles; Matt Cook and Todd Zimmerman, aunt; Cheryl Zimmerman; Granny, Mary Mitchell-Cook and a host of relatives and friends.
At Mitchell's request his body has been donated to Wayne State University for medical research.
A celebration of life will be held for family and friends at a later date.
