Obituary of Gordon David Miller

Gordon D. Miller, 76, of Battle Creek, passed away at his residence on Thursday, July 14, 2016, after a brief illness. He was born on January 30, 1940 in Battle Creek to the late Dennis and Lora (Dyer) Miller. Gordon served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. He retired after many years with United Steel and Wire.He was a classic car enthusiast and owned a few classic cars including his 57 Chevy Bel Air. He is preceded in death by his parents, his siblings, his wife, Joanne Mulgrew, a daughter Tracie Goodale and a son Tom Goodale. He is survived by his companion, Arney Jones, two daughters, Sue (Rick) Gillett and Vickie Hurst and his grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to AMVETS 1125 E. Columbia Ave., Battle Creek, MI 49014. Gordon was laid to rest with full military honors at Ft. Custer National Cemetery.
