J.T. Jarman, 81, of Niles, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2016.
J.T. was born on May 3, 1935 to the late Grady and Susie (Barnet) Jarman in Paris, Tennessee. After school J.T. joined the United States Air Force and in 1957 J.T. wed Shirley Lofton and though the two divorced they raised five children. J.T. retired from Clark Equipment in Niles.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Grady and Susie Jarman; son, Michael Jarman; brothers, Glen and John Jarman and several half brothers and sisters.
J.T. is survived by his children, Leona "Dolly" Matthews, SSGT Jack Lee Jarman (retired), Steven Jarman, all of Niles and Tammy (Guy) Mansfield of Decatur; 9 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday August 8, 2016 at Brown Funeral Home beginning at 1:30 p.m. with a time of visitation one hour prior.
