Obituary of Richard Maines

Richard Maines, 71, of Niles, passed away at Chalet of Niles on Monday, August 22, 2016.
He was born on Fe4bruary 14, 1945 to the late Owen and Frances (Emmirson) Maines in Seattle, Washington. After graduating high school Richard joined the United States Army and on December 16, 1965 he wed Frances "Dianne" Quimby at a ceremony in Auburn, Washington.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Dianne Maines.
He is survived by his children, Amy (Dennis) Davis of Niles, David Maines of Niles, Sophia Maines of South Bend, and Brenda (Jeffery) Koh of Madison, Wyoming; ten grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and a brother, Charles (Debra) Maines of Goodyear, Arizona.
In keeping with his wishes Richard will be cremated and his family will be remembering him privately.
Memorial contributions may be made in Richard's memory to Hospice at Home located at 4025 Health Park Lane, St. Joseph, Michigan 49085.
