Obituary of Ardith E. Heskett

Ardith Elaine Leonard-Heskett, 73, of Dowagiac, passed away on Friday, October 7, 2016 at Elkhart General Hospital. She was born on March 11, 1943, to the late; Virgil C. and Noma L. (Waine) Leonard, in Fountain, Michigan. On November 28, 1975, she married Chester Lee Heskett at a ceremony in Dowagiac. Ardith enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandchildren; she loved traveling with her family and friends, especially to Tennessee. Ardith is preceded in death by her parents; Virgil Clyde Leonard and Noma Loretta Ownbey, husband; Chester Heskett, brothers; Keith, Fred and Kenny Leonard. She is survived by her children; Michele (Donald) Dunivan, Gerrie Heskett, Cathy (Dan) Cavanaugh, DeDee (Keith) Luke and Sandy Owen, brothers; Rich and Bruce Leonard, 14 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
