Obituary of Beverly P. Zache

Beverly P. Zache, 87, of Niles, passed away on Monday, October 17, 2016, at West Woods of Niles, following a lengthy illness. She was born on May 14, 1929 in Benton Harbor to the late Raymond and Clara (Heaton) Miller. On May 14, 1949 Beverly married Arthur A. Zache at a ceremony in Benton Harbor. After graduating from Benton Harbor High School, Beverly worked as a sales associate for many years at JC Penney. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Niles. Beverly and Art always cherished their time spent with family and friends. The two of them enjoyed many of years dancing. Beverly will be remembered fondly for her cooking and baking, always with love. She was a sports enthusiast and never missed an opportunity to watch her children and grand-children play sports. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Art Zache, sons, Gary and Rick Zache, brothers, Raymond and Stanley and sisters; Ruby, Dorothy, Nina, Joyce and Rosemary. Beverly is survived by a son Arthur (Judy) Zache of Niles, daughter-in-law's, Chris and Debbie Zache, eleven grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren and her sisters; Phyllis Roberts of Bloomfield Hills and Donna Miller of Flushing and a sister-in-law Bess Miller of Stevensville. A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Niles. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 21, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Niles with a time of visitation beginning one hour prior. An interment will follow at Silverbrook Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Beverly's memory to the Alzheimer's Association or to West Woods of Niles.
