Obituary of Marcelene Gorham

Marcelene Joy Gorham, 80, of Cassopolis, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 with her family by her side. She was born on September 1, 1936 to the late Mark and Eileen (Halladay) Gorham. Marcelene was a faithful employee of the Edward Lowe Foundation for more than 40 years before her retirement. In her free time Marcelene could be found watching University of Michigan or Detroit sports, reading or spending time with her beloved cat. What made Marcelene most happy though was spending quality time with her nieces and nephews. Marcelene was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Richard, Donald, and Roger Gorham; and sister, Ann Sattelmaier. She is survived by her brother, Larry (Donna) Gorham of Cassopolis and a host of nieces and nephews. In keeping with Marcelene's wishes, her family will be holding a private burial at Prospect Hill Cemetery where she will be interred.
