Obituary of Kimberly Kristina Konold

Kimberly K. Konold, 35, of Niles passed away Friday, December 2, 2016 at home surrounded by her family, of natural causes. She was born to Gregory and Maria (Martin) Konold on November 25, 1981 in Cottonwood, Utah. Kimberly graduated from Niles High School in 2000 and then obtained an associate's degree from ITT Tech. She worked for several years in retail sales in the cellphone industry. Kimberly and her long time love Charles Hanson III were expecting their first child. Anyone who had the privilege of knowing Kimberly knew she was such an optimist with an extremely positive outlook on life and always happy. Kimberly was an avid fan of Notre Dame Football, 80's music and loved the show FRIENDS. She also had an enormous heart for animals, especially cats. Above all of her passions, her greatest passion was spending time with family. She is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Oscar L. and Nelida Martin. She is survived by her mother and father, Gregory and Maria Conold of Niles, her paternal grandparents, Clyde and Maxine Konold from West Valley City, Utah, her three brothers; Kris (Melissa) Konold Granger, Indiana, Alex Konold of Niles, and Kevin Konold, Niles. Those wishing to make a memorial donation may do so to the Humane Society or Pet Refuge. The family will be having a visitation on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 from 6-8pm at Brown Funeral Home.
