Joyce A. Krugman, 72, of Niles, passed away at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville on Friday, December 2, 2016. She was born in Jackson, Michigan and raised in the Albion area by her parents, Vern C. and Margie (Bowersox) Krugman. Joyce spent many years working in office management as a supervisor. She enjoyed fishing and was a Notre Dame and Dallas Cowboys football enthusiast. Joyce always looked forward to caring for her lawn and mostly riding on her lawnmower. Her greatest love was that for her family. Joyce and her wife Rebecca shared over 37 years together. She was preceded in death by her parents. Joyce is survived by her wife, Rebecca L. Grothe of Niles, her daughters, Tracy (Mark) Price of Niles, Mary Shanes (Anthony Slaughter) of Royce City, Texas, four grandchildren; Amanda Price and Andrea (Daven Osby) Price, Anthony II and Jade Slaughter and her five great-grandchildren; Damon, L'myah, Aryah, Eliason and Taya. Joyce's wishes were to be cremated and have her family remember her privately. Memorial contributions may be made to Hanson Hospice Center, 4025 Health Pak Lane, St. Joseph, Michigan 49085.
