Obituary of Lennie Miner

Lennie Miner, 52, of Niles, passed away, at his home, on December 18, 2016. Lennie was born on May 17, 1964 to the late Robert "Buster" and Wilma (Hartstein) Miner in Niles, Michigan. Lennie was an avid University of Michigan football fan, he was a great mechanic, enjoyed building model and race cars, fishing and spending time on the computer talking to his friends and family. He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Betty Bonner, Pat Stewart, and Larry Miner. Lennie is survived by his son, Lennie (Jamie) Miner II of Texas; grandson, Joseph Miner; and siblings, Ronald (Laurie) Miner of South Bend, Robert Miner of Niles and Sandy (Tony) Stewart of Kentucky. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Hope Community Church at 1:30 p.m. with visitation beginning one hour prior. Memorial donations may be made in Lennie's name to Hope Community Church at 2390 Lake Street, Niles, Michigan 49120.
