We remember Bob as a true gentleman who not only liked to tell great stories, but was also very interested in what others had to say. Conversations with Bob were always interesting particularly if the topic was the Michigan Wolverines. We have fond memories of the many times we spent with Bob when he came up to Canada with Arlene. His support of Canadian Friends of Hopital Albert Schweitzer Haiti was particularly evident at our September golf tournament.
Thanks for the memories Bob!

Our remembrance of Bob brings words of tribute that try to describe him in our brief, but wonderful time spent around him in Florida.
He had the heart of a Lion, a giant in many aspects- friendliness, outward focused, genteel, charitable, kind, and warm to everyone he came in contact with. The Yiddish word is Mensch.
We remember marveling at his ability to remember details about us year after year with no intervening contact during the year. He made everyone feel special.
We have great respect for his enduring Faith in God and his ability to articulate this Faith in such a natural way as part of the fabric of his life.
Our deepest sympathy to Arlene and all his family

I often sat next to Bob in the choir loft when he could no longer climb past the first row. I will always think of Bob as a perfect gentleman in every way. He was also loving and very kind. He had a beautiful bass voice and I am sure is singing in the heavenly choir now. With my sincere sympathy to Bob's family, and loving companion Arlene.

Bob and Arlene were the first to welcome us when we first came to Perico Bay Club. Bob soon became a friend---always there with a smile, a joke, a comforting word. How we miss the card games, the golf games and seeing him cruising the neighborhood on his "big red ". Hugs and prayers for consolation for you, his family. Roger & Char Young

The picture says it all! Bob took every opportunity to praise God's name in song and loved letting it fly on the last note. He had a kind, generous nature and thoroughly loved singing bass in our choir. Every once in awhile, after a powerful anthem or hymn, I would catch him with a tear in his eye. Bob's heart was so full for the Lord that the music sometimes overwhelmed him.
I will always cherish Bob's desire to sing, his gentle sense of humor, and his utter disdain for Ohio State football. On behalf of the Kirkwood Presbyterian Choir, I offer condolences to Bob's sizeable family and loving companion Arlene. Our brother is free of pain, and I'm sure he's already found the choir room in heaven.
