Obituary of Judith Mihills

Judith Mihills, 71, of Niles, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Lakeland Community Hospital, Niles. She was born on April 30, 1945 in Niles, Michigan to the late Frank and Nettie (Stratton) Grahl. Judith graduated from Lawrence High School. She married Larry Mihills on February 19, 1966 in Augusta, Georgia. Judy worked for many years in retail sales for Carbon, The Eagles Store in Niles and Walmart. She enjoyed ceramics and crocheting however, her family was most important to her and loved spending time with them, especially her granddaughter. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother Mike Grahl. Judy is survived by her husband, Larry Mihills of Niles, two daughters, Elisa (Robert) Laskowski of Edwardsburg and Robin Mihills (Thaddeus Bruno) of Effingham, Illinois, a granddaughter, Morgan Laskowski of Edwardsburg, her sister, Sharon (Roger) Huckendubler of Manistee, a brother Frank Grahl of Cassopolis, Larry's brother, Gary (Sandy) Mihills of Niles, and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. with a time of visitation beginning an hour prior at Brown Funeral Home. The family will gather for a private interment at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens.
